Yic Barbecue Market
Yic Barbecue Market is a restaurant interior covering 280 square meters. The design departs from the traditional barbecue shop through a brand identity based on a small alien dinosaur character. At the entrance, a figure wearing an oxygen mask greets passers-by and gives the facade a simple and clear expression. Mirror stainless steel forms a continuous ceiling and a dramatic dining environment. The smoke exhaust pipe in the barbecue area takes a UFO shape. Seating areas are divided by changes in color, decoration and furniture shapes rather than by walls.
Yic Barbecue Market Restaurant by Qing Dong was recognized as an outstanding illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Yic Barbecue Market Restaurant won the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design competition that honors superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
